PROFILE
BILL OSHINIBOSI
Principal Neighbourhood Officer, Liverpool City Council
Bill’s parents always told him education was important but he didn’t always take notice. He went to college a couple of times but couldn’t get a job and realised he needed further qualifications so studied for a HND in Leisure Management.
He was told at the time that moving up the career ladder in Leisure would be extremely difficult so he decided to change career and became a junior clerk. Bill went from strength to strength in regeneration and sees mentoring as helping people to become better at what they are good at. Bill believes that people need to stand up and be seen to be standing up. He wants to see better employment prospects for the community.
Bill is now the Principal neighbourhood Officer for Liverpool Community Council.
