How has SLP, Positive about Employment helped you personally?

In many ways!! From the time I registered, it was explained what services were available, what was required of me and the level of support, they could actually provide. Also, a great personal rapport was built up between myself and the staff, in particular my Employment/Guidance Officer, Lorna. The friendship support and trust that developed really helped build my confidence .

How do you feel SLP compares to other organizations/employment agencies you have registered with?

SLP is much better. They work on a one to one basis and give you plenty of time.They also do follow up, to see how your search is progressing.
In other places, I felt restricted by time and the staff did not seem particularly well trained or experienced. Also they did not give me proper guidance about the jobs that were suited to me, nor are you contacted after you leave the office.

What was the best thing that has happened to you since registering with SLP?

Recognising my abilities and valuing my achievements, also building my self confidence which led to me finding work through SLP.

In a word, how would you describe the service that SLP provides?

Positive!!
