South Liverpool Personnel

International Personnel, as it was originally called, was set up in the early 70’s as an employment agency whose remit was to redress the many inequalities in employment practices within the City of Liverpool. For most of its 33 year history it has been funded by the Local Authority. This funding has gradually been taken over by the European Social Fund.

As a centre it offers training and job councelling to the black and ethnic minority in the Liverpool area. Training is also given to employers to help them understand and meet the criteria of the Race Relations Act 1976.
SLP offer career councelling, redundancy and pre-retirement councelling, testing and assessment, outplacement and positive action training. SLP also hold a database of prospective employees and their qualifications and are extremely well versed in placing the right people in the right job.
